Discernment is not the ability to recognize right from wrong but the ability to recognize the difference between right and almost right.
When we are in touch with our true self we base our choices on internal yearnings. This is at a wordless level that arises from a physical sensation, a knowing. When we are operating from our ego we are using external information to choose. This language based decision making might sometimes be almost right, but by strengthening our connection to true self, we are more easily able to where we are meant to go, what we are meant to do and whom we will do it with.
Start from a positive perspective. If you are in a negative place wait to make your choice.
Remember you are the best expert on what is best for you in all aspects of your life.
Discernment is not judgement. We can choose one thing without negatively judging another.
If you start with mindset, you are more open to hearing your inner compass. Begin in a place of contentment, joy or serenity and you will have a broad awareness that allows clarity.
If you start with fear, anger or anxiety you will not have an open mind to seeing the options before you.
Resilient people discern more easily. You become resilient by practicing positivity.
Life offers you a lot of invitations, be wise enough to choose which are worth attending.
