March is that time where the winter's end is in sight and yet the Club Med commercials keep us longing for summer warmth. My theme in March is to keep "marching forward".
What do I mean by that?
January tends to be equated with goals and plans. February goes by in a blink. When March arrives the feeling of overwhelm sometimes hits. It's snowy and the winter blahs are at their worst. Summer can seem so far ahead. It's easy to get stalled on all the goals you had in January.
What can you do when you're stuck?
The first thing you need to do is recognize that these blocks are mental blocks. You put them there so you can remove them. When we fall off the wagon or lose our willpower an ugly cycle can develop where the goal seems to get farther and farther away and we get more and more anxious about reaching it. The only real solution is to take action. Here's a little action plan to get you started.
